Personal Reflection: As a fantasy fiction lover and a sucker for romance, I really enjoyed this book! The elements of the story completely sucked me in, and the storyline never lagged. I became truly invested in the relationship between Misery and Lowe. While the book can get a bit graphic—after all, it’s an adult novel—I loved the passion between the characters. It also took me back to the Twilight series days and definitely made me swoon thinking of Edward. Team Edward all the way!
